(November 29) In order to discover the singing potential of our students and increase their interest in English songs, the English Language Centre of our school held the finals of the English singing competition, “The Voice of Jit Sin 2023”, on the 29th of November 2023. This is a singing competition where contestants sing classic and popular songs.
The competition was categorised into two categories, solo and group. There were 13 soloists and 14 groups that advanced to the finals. The 27 finalists were all incredibly talented! Among the contestants, some stood out with their impressive performances. In this competition, the contestants proved their own abilities, and each contestant’s perfect performance made the competition even more intense.
The school principal, Mr Ong Chang Boon, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all of the committee members and contestants who participated in this competition. He encouraged students to put even more effort into learning English and improving their English proficiency. He hoped that students would continue to strive for excellence in their studies, mastering and building the foundation for their future development through this competition.
